I wrote this song to celebrate my son’s high school graduation. He was only 12 when his Dad passed away, and he has grown into an extraordinary young man. Best job I’ve ever had is being a parent. Thanks Calvin! I’m glad I got to be your Mom, and I’m lucky I got to be your friend. I hope you get to experience all the joy and laughter you’ve given me!

Raising children brings pride and joy, and sometimes a little rest.
